okay so it has been a while, but i have a good reason! June was full of packing, moving, and visiting friends before we moved! Not to mention starting nursing school! Which is why i have found it difficult to find time to blog about of this! We are loving our little apartment! Its right across the street from campus so i NEVER have to drive and that's amazing! It is pretty small, but it is just right for Adam and I. We are still working on unpacking because we don't have a whole lot of furniture at the moment so we are waiting on that and then hopefully we will get everything unpacked!
Adam is currently looking for a job and im praying he finds one soon! he has been able to go out and help the missionaries and that is a blessing! he has also been working up his portfolio!
Now onto the good stuff :) i LOVE nursing school so far! it is so much fun! i wont lie, it has been really overwhelming because it feels like they are teaching you a months worth of information in a week and i have never been so tired and it keeps me really busy but i love it! i love learning all of these new things, i love going to lab and learning new skills, and i LOVE being able to work with patients and actually doing what we learned! Granted I have only had one clinical experience and it was at a long term care home but it was amazing!! I am excited to go through these next 2 years! And so far I have only almost cried once! Id say that's pretty good for the first 3 weeks of class lol.
we both are really loving our new ward here as well! I have never been in a ward where everyone is so friendly and makes you feel so welcome! we have had 3 dinner invites since we have been here! and we are really loving the fact that there are some couples around our age as well! We love that the ward has a lot of investigators and there has been 2 baptisms since we have been here as well! Going there just makes me realize even more that this is where we are supposed to be! Every week we go we love it more... which reminds me that I am giving a talk in church tomorrow and its not even close to being done so i should go :)
