its been a while! thats okay though because i know that like no one reads this! so im finally done with Kennesaw! thank goodness! my experience there was just not a good one... it made me realize how much i miss byu-idaho. all of my finals went really well and i was surprised at my final grades 1 because i ended up with an A in political science and im really not sure how that even happened because i was pulling a low B all semester so it makes me think that i made a 100 on the final! awesome! and 2 because my amazing general psych teacher mistakenly gave me a FAILING grade instead of the B i worked "so" hard for. i immediately blew up his email and his phone and when he finally got back to me he let me know the process was a simple one and he would get on it ASAP... so for the moment i was slightly comforted but still a little worried... so a week goes by... nothing... a few more days go by so i decide to email him to check the status... he replies a few days later with well i have submitted the paperwork but the registrar office is taking a while to complete due to graduation so it will probably be a few weeks. WELL the thing was i didnt really have a few weeks since I start nursing school June 21. my final transcripts HAD to be in for a number of reasons. so i decided to take matters into my own hands and went up to KSU the following day & went to the registrars office to check on the so called paperwork my teacher said he submitted... well it turns out that the office did not have ANY paperwork for me and that it would NOT take a couple weeks because they do this daily. so i went to the psych department to see if there was anything there... and to my surprise there was not. so it turns out that this fabulous teacher of mine LIED... i tried to stay calm and the secretary said she would fill out the paper and find someone to sign it... and just like that my grade was changed.. not hard at all so idk why this teacher felt the need to lie about it. but i was pretty pissed about it and am still slightly since he is a TEACHER and as a student I should be able to trust him. so other than that things went well :) MCG now has my final transcripts so now its just a waiting process for classes to start!!!! :D i have a little less than a month!
Adam and I just got back from a super fun trip to FL with my mom, my sister, and her family! it was so much fun! i love FL and it was adams first time and the beach is pretty much my favorite place ever! i was glad that we got to spend time with my sister and her ADORABLE children! i have the cutest nieces ever! and adam and i only got a little sunburned.. :)
so i have been running lately and im starting to actually enjoy it! i try and go 3 or 4 times a week and im starting to see results! and its making me so excited which makes me want to run even more! adam and i going to do a 5k and then a 10k sometime this year and then i want to work up to a half marathon and then a marathon! :) we shall see!
the past few days i have been scrap booking like crazy! i am finally getting around to doing our wedding pictures and i am really loving the results! i have never really scrap booked anything so i am surprised at how nice it is turning out! i only wish i had an endless supply of supplies at my disposal! and since we are broke as all get out i cant exactly go out and buy whatever i want! buts its okay! :) i have enough for the moment!
SO tomorrow adam and i ,my parents, and HIS parents are all going to a braves game-- i believe they are playing the phillies-- AND!!!!! there is a free beach boys concert afterwards! im pretty dang pumped! :) i love oldies music!
