20 credits?

oh my goodness! we have arrived and it feels great to be back! i will admit that adam and i are missing our friends in rexburg... it is so weird not having anyone around our age to hang out with.. i mean i have my friends that i hung out with before we got married, but my poor love doesnt really know anyone here yet :( we must fix that!
christmas was amazing! it was so awesome to see all my family! they are crazy! i loved seeing my precious little nieces -who arent so little anymore- it is crazy how fast kids grow up.. i cant wait to have babies! i start school in a few days! Its like a love hate relationship.. i love going to class and to tell you the truth i really dont mind homework all that much BUT its the exams that im already stressing about and i havent even started class yet. only because this is going to be somewhat of a tough semester for me... im starting at Kennesaw and im super excited! itll be really different than BYU... 16 credits... well i THOUGHT i was taking only 16... until i go up to campus and try and solve the mystery of why i wasnt able to register for chemistry 2... come to find out i need calculus to be enrolled in chemistry... thats a 4 credit class.. that puts me at 20 credits. now 20 credits wouldnt be bad with classes like social dance or intro to basket weaving BUT since im taking statistics, intro to psychology, some other upper level psychology, american govt, and chemistry along with the lab.... the panic begin to set in. Now for those of you who dont know- which is probably everyone reading this [assuming somone does read it]- i applied to nursing school at Medical College of GA for JUne i wont hear back from them until the end of Feb. and i HAVE to have all those classes i listed minus calc... but to take chem at KSU i need calc. i called MCG trying to see if there was any way around it... and guess what there it :) She suggested i go to a community college to take chem. BRILLANT! i got accepted to another college... i quickly called my sister had her call her cousin who works admission at GA highlands to pull some strings for me.. this lady is a SAINT!...-shes getting 2 dozen cookies- so now im enrolled in 2 colleges... one 15 minutes from my house the other... an hour. that sucks but you gotta do whatcha gotta do! its going to be intense but i think i can handle it... i need to become an expert on time management. thats really the only excitement!
adam is trying to find a job! we are really fortunate to be able to live with my parents right now while we try to get things situated with school and money and jobs. we are so blessed. there is so much to be grateful for that i take for granted.

its hard to believe its 2010 already and i havent really even made resolutions... so how bout i come up with some now?
1- i really want to become closer to my Heavenly Father. i dont think im near close enough to where i should be. I want to try and read my scriptures more often and have family scripture study with adam every day. I need to be better at relying on the Lord in times of need AND when things are going good. i think as human beings we tend -at least I do- to forget the lord when things are going good and remember him when we are in a tough spot... I want to be better at baring my testimony to people and teaching more people about the gospel and doing more service.

2- i really want to get on a good exercise routine... whether its 3 days a week or 5 days a week. i want to start doing yoga and meditating more. along with exercising more i want to eat healthier.. meaning cutting out more sugar and not eating junk food.

3- a huge one i want to focus on is to have a better attitude and not take everything out on my dear husband.. poor guy gets the brunt of my bad moods... even though he almost always tries to make it better for me.

I dont think these things are too hard to acheive i just need to be motivated and suck it and forget myself. idk how many people read this or if anyone reads it at all.. but if you do hold me accountable!

AND to all my rexburg friends! i miss yall so much! i so wish we could move back!
